Pursuant to the DepEd Order No. 8, s.2015, re: Policy Guidelines on the Classroom Assessment for the K to 12 Basic Education Program, this Office wants to determine the number of learners who failed in one or more subjects by asking all teachers to accomplish Online Report on the Status of the Learners with Failing Final Grades (S.Y.2019-2020).
This report aims to:
a. track the number of students who failed in different subjects across grading periods;
b. collect information on the rendered intervention (if there is) as a mandatory requirement before deciding to pass or fail certain learners which is very clear in DepEd Order No. 8, s.2015.
c. enumerate the unachieved competencies for possible mentoring and coaching activities;
d. determine the Technical Assistance (TA) provided by the instructional leaders to suffice the need to do the decision; and
e. give the Office baseline data in giving recommendations and other future actions.
